7 to 10 sep 2007, Bratislava

i had a race with these kids... they won man!

sk, me and Paul (our Irish room mate) who taught us how to cook tomato pasto and we have been using that recipe to survive in Europe

we took a bus 9km west of Bratislava to visit Devin Castle which was packed solid with historical intrigue.
after this gate, there is a ticket office but somehow we missed that and we entered without paying... we only realised that when we were leaving
playground was swimming in water too...

Bratislava Castle - a fire devastated the fortress in 1811 and most of what we see today is a reconstruction from the 1950s (bland white interiors)

this is one of the cities that we like... very laidback and pleasant.
there were many Irish in town for the European Championship qualifying football match between Ireland and Slovakia. The Irish, who wore green everyday (to support their team), were seen on the streets cheering, singing and enjoying the atmosphere of this match. some of them lifted their fists up when they saw SK (because he's in green too).
the Irish whom we spoke to were all heading to Prague after this to watch their team play against Czech Republic. die-hard fans hor...
