surfing at Tristan's house...
chanced upon this Cultural Centre where there was a photo exhibit by a war photojournalist James Nachtwey. although i did not take pictures at his exhibition, you may want to take a look at his photographs on his website at http://www.jamesnachtwey.com/

"I have been a witness, and these pictures are

my testimony. The events I have recorded should

not be forgotten and must not be repeated."

-James Nachtwey-

autumn colors...

light offerings in a church...

it has been raining in most parts of west europe these days... my the soles of my shoes were wearing out and i get frozen feet on most days...

dont understand the meaning leh...

arrived at Tristan's (our CS host) house in the middle of the night (4am) as the bus departed 2 hours late from brussels, plus... we lost our way while looking for his house. Tristan was so accomodating. he opened the door for us, show us the mattress and then went back to bed.
during our stay with him, he introduced us to the cartoon film, the Family Guy (which is quite similar to the Simpsons) and also to a French dish called Raclette. together with 4 other house mates, we were each given a small 8 x 8 cm square pan to melt our cheese, then pour it onto the boiled potatoes. depending on your preference, you can put in ham, onions and eggs! ooo laa laa...
